The Finance Division is responsible for the agency’s Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Budget, Procurement and Grants Management functions.
The Finance Division serves as agency liaison with Department of Accounts, Payroll Services Bureau, Department of Planning and Budget, Department of General Services, and all federal funding agencies. The policies and directives issued by these outside agencies are interpreted, implemented and enforced by staff within the Finance Division, who in turn work with VDEM staff to provide training and guidance with all applicable policies.
