Logistics 201 – Mutual Aid in Virginia

This course is designed to establish a baseline awareness of mutual aid programs and procedures, plans, documents, and systems utilized throughout Virginia by public sector entities. Topics of discussion will include local mutual aid, statewide mutual aid, state to state mutual aid, processes and procedures, and mutual aid planning.

To enhance the readiness and sustainability of the stakeholders through training and education based programs on mutual aid planning and logistical operations

Please note that this course is currently under development and is slated to begin training rotation in 2017.
These sections are: Logistics Fundamentals, Logistical Planning, Resource Management Processes, Logistical Tools, Procurement Basics. At the end of the course there will be a “knowledge assessment” based on the materials presented.
