VDEM offers a wide variety of emergency management-related courses and programs for students across the Commonwealth. The Knowledge Center is our Learning Management System with a broad range of tools including the catalog of courses and learning events, registration, transcripts, and certificates of completion.
Requesting a Knowledge Center Account
The first step in enrolling in any course offered by VDEM through the Knowledge Center is to apply for an account in the Knowledge Center. If you do not have an account, submit your request here.
Registration For Open Courses
Some courses are “open” and anyone with a Knowledge Center account may register. If you already have an account with another state agency, please use your username and password for that account.
Selective Admission Courses and Programs
Some VDEM courses and programs require admission before registering. The application for admission process ensures that students have the necessary prerequisites and are eligible for specific courses or programs.
