TEED- ICS300-11 (B) SPONSORED Intermediate Incident Command Systems for Expanding Incidents


Description: This 18-hour classroom course is designed for front-line personnel with supervisory responsibilities to serve in a command or general staff position. The three-day curriculum includes instruction in general principles associated with incident command, along with various tabletop exercises that allow students to put this knowledge to practical use.

Prerequisites: ICS-100 and ICS-200, IS-/ICS-700, IS-/ICS-800

Purpose: Enable the student to develop an ICS organizational structure, list staffing requirements, prepare a briefing, lead or participate in a planning meeting, identify resources, develop goals, prepare an action plan and become familiar with NIMS.

Target Audience: This course is intended for individuals who may assume a supervisory role in expanding incidents or Type 3 incidents.

Goals: Successfully pass exam with score of 70 or better and put information into practice
