The Importance of Vetting Cloud Providers

Description: More and more IT services providers are offering solutions that are hosted in the cloud. This means that these solutions do not require servers and other equipment on the user’s site, which can reduce cost significantly, and can be accessed from anywhere. However, these solutions can also increase risk if they are not provisioned correctly making them vulnerable to cyber attack. This webinar will discuss the importance of properly vetting a cloud solution/provider and the questions a user might ask to try to identify the level of risk they would be assuming by deploying that solution. It is impossible to eliminate all risk, but understanding the risks of a particular solution and managing them is essential to the success of any solution in the cloud.
