Using the Text to 9-1-1 Implementation Guide

Overview: The E-911 Services Board requested the creation of an implementation guide to assist Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) deploying text to 9-1-1. VITA’s integrated services staff created a draft using guides produced in other states as a model, which was reviewed by the board’s text to 9-1-1 subcommittee and those PSAPs having deployed a text to 9-1-1 solution in Virginia. This webinar will review this guide demonstrating how it can be used to help a PSAP move forward with deployment of the text to 9-1-1 service.
