List of Disaster Recovery Centers Communications Delivered by FEMA

FEMA and VDEM have partnered to proactively promote the six Disaster Recovery Centers in Southwest Virginia. Below is a list of communications, media engagements, and outreach conducted to promote Disaster Recovery Centers. In addition to the content described below, FEMA and VDEM have staff dedicated to building relationships with local emergency managers, municipal staff and elected officials. These staff, which include Division Supervisors and Intergovernmental Affairs Specialists, are on the ground meeting with stakeholders to promote FEMA programs, including outreaching Disaster Recovery Centers. FEMA will continue to promote Disaster Recovery Centers as they stay open during the Helene recovery process.
