New versions of the NG9-1-1 GIS Recommendations and Working with VGIN Feature Services Resources Available

Richmond (ISP) – New versions of the popular Next Generation 9-1-1 GIS Recommendations and Working with VGIN Feature Services resources are available. Both documents are updated with references to use the new GIS infrastructure at https://gismaps.vdem.virginia.gov/arcgis/rest/. The recommendations document also updates to a new format and includes more examples in Part 5: Attributes. A new section, Part 6: Our GIS is Onboarded. What’s Next?, that includes suggestions for reviewing maintenance workflows, thoughts on subaddresses.
