One of the Bureau’s primary strengths is the close relationship we have with our stakeholders. Throughout the team’s transition from VITA to VDEM, we remained committed to assisting our extended 9-1-1 and GIS communities in their efforts to provide services to the citizens of Virginia. Now that we are part of VDEM we have a tremendous opportunity to bring the 9-1-1, GIS, and Emergency Management communities closer together and use our combined resources in order to achieve synergistic goals.
